The Danish noise-rock trio call their music a noisy homage to the complicated existence of love
To play louder, faster and wilder. That was the mission of The Entrepreneurs when they first started playing together in 2014. One might say that they have succeeded so far! The Danish noise-rock trio call their music a noisy homage to the complicated existence of love. You think it sounds too mighty and exaggerated? Well, take a listen and you will see they’re only being honest. All of this is portrayed through songs played by singer/guitarist Mathias Bertelsen, bassist Anders Hvass and drummer Jonas Wetterslev. Nothing more is needed in The Entrepreneurs.
Signed to the Danish independent label Like a Can of Beans, the Copenhagen-based band released their critically acclaimed EP Tony Rominger in 2016. The high-pitched vocals of the lead singer Mathias Bertelsen bring beautiful vulnerability to the overall punkish sound of the band. And if you thought nothing in this fast-paced world can grab your attention anymore, take a look at their music video for ‘Ombre’, which features elderly men sharing bloodstained kisses. In their home country of Denmark, The Entrepreneurs are one of the top bands to watch and it may just be a matter of time until their love-related existential problems reach a universal audience.
