Over a few years and through various fragmented projects, Tanguy Haesevoets aka Teme Tan became a master in mixing sounds and his influences. In 2011, he touched base in Kinshasa, where he had been born and spent his early years, and auto-produced the album Matiti, with the title track displaying the quality and easy-going high pitch of his voice. Then a journey to Brasil ended with the release of a colourful EP of cover songs, further widening the field of sonic possibilities....

Let’s start by saying that choosing his name in reference to American artist Keith Haring is proof of good taste. 24 years old Yann Attia aka Haring comes from the small town of Mons, but is based in Brussels and has a special relation with the world of art and fashion – none other than the very prestigious Dior brand used the track ‘Us’ for an ad with Eva Herzigova. This track is still currently the Belgian producer’s peak and has been played thousands of times on different platforms. It also opened wide the doors of the best clubs in Belgium, as well as got him onto many festival lineups across Europe and even the US.<...

Once in a century there comes a band called The Smashing Pumpkins. In La Jungle, watermelons replace the Halloween staple, but the anger to smash them remains! The Mons-based duo is one of the most exciting live bands in the kingdom since the beginning of the project three years ago. And with more than 150 gigs in two years, the effect is still the same: Booooom!

Powerful kraut rock, math rock at the edges and noise everywhere else – Mathieu Flasse on the guitar and Remy Venant on the drums explore every possible loud sound they can melt and play repetitively, with melodies calling for a state of trance. After an already brilliant ...

Coming from out of nowhere on the first music television contests in early 2001, Christa Jerôme aka La Jerôme had the meeting of her life on the night of the finale. The jury featured the incredibly talented Belgian jazz and electro producer Marc Moulin. A major musician known around the world, he was searching for a voice to go with the melodies he had just composed. Thus was their collaboration born and together they put out three wonderful albums and the lounge hit single ‘I Am You’.

But the sudden death of Marc Moulin just around the release of the album I Am You led the singer to reinvent the world she had ...

Belgian rap has lived for many years in the shadow of its imposing French big brother. But over the last three, four years, we've seen new hip-hop from the black, yellow and red generation, including Damso, Roméo Elvis, Hamza and even the Flemish Woodie Smalls. Another part of this new wave is the duo of Barcelona native Caballero and Charleroi-based Jassim aka JeanJass, united by the rather active label BackintheDayz and a furious desire to join their talents. After a lot of feature appearances and some personal projects (Les  Corbeaux and the hit track 'Pharaon Blanc' for Caballero and the Exodarap collective and a solo album called JeanJass ...
