Paul-Henri Wauters

Le Botanique / Belgium (Brussels)
I was born in 1960, when Steve Reich began writing a twelve-tone piece for string ensemble, and the name "The Beatles" first appeared in the media. I understood it much later. General and artistic director of Botanique in Brussels, a magical place of concerts and exhibitions in the heart of Belgium's capital, particularly focused on current music. We host more than 650 bands each year in the halls of the Orangerie, the Rotonde and the Wiltoof bar (the Belgian endive was invented there in 1854) . The Botanique team and our friends at Europavox share an exaggerated and boundless interest in good music from all corners of our continent.
