Cristian Quirante, known artistically as Alizzz, is the alchemist / producer / King Midas of Spanish pop, one of the most listened to acts on Spanish streets today. He’s well known for his role as a producer behind the desks, for his work with Rosalia, Becky G and especially C. Tangana, yet here we are going to highlight his tremendous sensitivity as a creator and musician.

Alizzz, whose name pays tribute to one of his favorite groups from his adolescence, Alice In Chains, is used to give gender ambiguity to his project. His songs shine so that we can set aside the focus on his work as a producer and, value his personal musical output instead.

Closer to the more elegant and electronic end of indie rock than to urban pop or reggaeton, Alizzz hits the key so that those young people from the suburbs who adore C. Tangana and Rosalia can immerse themselves in elegant three-minute songs, where a bridge is established between the soft rock of Fleetwood Mac, the electro-rock sensibility of Soulwax, and the lost talent of Dj Sideral.

Songs as rounded as ‘Ya No Vales’ or ‘Ya No Siento Nada’ have lyrics that identify with these young people and their sentimental problems without having to “Perrear” (“dirty dance/twerk”).
