A kaleidoscope of the most trendy sounds in pop music

" Feel good bedroom pop you can dance to "

LUVVER writes about their music in a beautiful way – crydance. However, trying to break down their work into prime factors, we get a surprisingly large number of elements. ‘It Is Vvhat It Is’, the Slovaks debut album that was released this year, sounds like a compilation of hits from various areas of popular music – from indie rock, through indie pop to electropop. Along the way, the band experiments with eclectic genres, including trap.

Electronic parts play the main role in LUVVER’s work – the members of the band play with synthetic sounds, but also guitars and drums. Regardless of the style chosen, the catchy melody is the key to the Slovaks’ songs. Each of their tracks is awesomely danceable, a potential radio hit. Frontman Tom Löbb’s confident and characteristic voice will open doors.

It is all the more surprising that LUVVER’s lyrics are about dilemmas, sadness, love, and desires. The band’s songs are made to listen to alone, on the one hand and to dance wildly in front of the stage on the other. They address difficult emotions with light sounds: you can cry and dance to their songs at the same time.

In terms of impact, LUVVER takes us on a journey from indie-pop in the style of Foster The People or Glass Animals, through subtle electropop, trap and disco. LUVVER does not accept compromises and limitations. The band members use all ways they can imagine to create songs designed to stick in the memory.

The strength of LUVVER is in the dancing, in electronic songs such as the single ‘Vile/Divine’. In this aesthetic, the Slovaks sound like a band that can play at the biggest festivals today.
