Every summer, the Europavox festival in Clermont-Ferrand (France) unveils the best of the European scene, but this autumn we are offering a new European event with Club Europavox!
Organised as part of „Clermont fête ses étudiants“ (Clermont celebrates its students) in partnership with the city of Clermont and the University of Clermont Auvergne, we will be taking over the concert hall La Coopérative de Mai on 13 October to offer activities, meetings with associations and, of course, European concerts, with women’s hip-hop from all over the continent.
On the programme for this evening, which will be marked by a young, committed and musical Europe: the Ukrainian sisters of FO SHO, whose rap and singing recently delighted the Europavox Sessions by ARTE Concert, or the French artist Illustre, whose militant prose questions gender identities and the place of women in today’s world. But also Iris Gold, born in London and raised in Denmark in a free-thinking environment, who still influences her borderless hip-hop, allowing herself to take pop and soul sidesteps. Or finally the Latvian Eliza Legzdina and her rap and RNB hits, high-energy queer anthems and sex-positive conversations.
