Year round, Europavox selects the continent’s most exciting new artists and puts them in the spotlight during festive eclectic events, both digital and live. The european cultural channel ARTE has naturally chosen to work with Europavox to launch the Europavox Sessions this year. During the Europavox festival Clermont-Ferrand (France), the Coopérative de mai concert hall will showcase ten European artists who will each play three songs live exclusively for these sessions.

The entire program will be broadcast on ARTE Concert, Facebook and YouTube on Monday 4 July at 8 PM. Each artist’s performance will remain available for several months on ARTE Concert.

“The European music scene is a constant, vibrant source of young talents. It reminds me every day that Europe is above all a continent of emotions. Whether they are expressing joy or rebellion, laughter or tears, these young artists proclaim their insatiable thirst for discovery and travels. They want to meet other cultures and audiences, beyond borders.

With the help of art directors and journalists from all over the continent, Europavox has been working to convey these sources of inspirations for over 15 years. Its festivals in seven European countries and Europavox.com give these artists a voice.

Today, thanks to ARTE CONCERT, their songs will resonate even louder during the EUROPAVOX SESSIONS, a real panorama of the indie European music scene in all its diversity – or diversitIES – of style, country, roots, language, genre and more.

From Greek pop to Irish rock, from Ukrainian rap to Portuguese electro, we want to take you on a great journey – that’ll surely be packed with emotion.”
