Europavox Festival Bucharest: Thank you !

Mulțumesc foarte mult, Bucharest! Thank you so much for yet another splendid edition of Europavox festival. The nights were sonic journeys across Europe and the crowd’s energy was contagious! Big thanks to all of our partners, and to you all for showing up.

Night one was UNREAL. Local heroes Kadjavsi started the festival with their unique blend of electronic, jazz, and pop styles, followed by French post-punk band MEULE who brought raw intensity. Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys delivered a haunting set of gothic noir pop, and Pip Blom closed the night with a vibrant burst of indie-pop anthems.

Night two followed, featuring some raw performances: from British duo Jadu Heart and their acid psych rock to Ada Oda’s post-punk, the sets were eclectic and showed the diversity of the European music scene. Shoegazers Sugar for the Pill and PLANT concluded what can already be remembered as a great edition of the festival!

The nights were great, but let’s not forget about our day program «What’s next for European music ? » ! On the 5th of April, Europavox, the French Institute of Bucharest, and Control Club presented four panels focusing on youth, sustainability, cultural journalism and Ukrainian artists’ visibility. They were enlightening discussions and beautiful interactions between professionals or music lovers.

Thank you to all those who were there : 700 of you danced and dreamt with us, celebrating European musical diversity!
