Congrats to Aoife Nessa Frances, the artist of February!
West-Ireland, its cliffs, cold winds and magical folklore, have always been a fantastic source of inspiration for musicians and poets. Aoife Nessa Frances is one of them, having moved from Dublin to Clare when the pandemic started. Her second album, ‘Protector’, is an ode to those landscapes, to searching for an identity through loneliness, and to the importance of family, through carefully crafted songwriting and folk music infused with psychedelic sounds from the 60s and 70s.
