Lucy Kruger was born in South Africa and discovered Europe a few years ago with her then-duo, touring independently all over the continent. It was love at first sight. After forming a band (The Lost Boys) to support her solo project in Cape Town, she crossed the world to settle in Berlin, where The Lost Boys were found again around a pan-european crew. Since 2020, she has released a trilogy of tapes and a brand-new LP in April 2023, ‘Heaving’, in which her dark, seductive and haunting take on pop-songwriting explores all sorts of feelings, emotions that run through her veins, from rage to hope to frustration.
