Congratulations to ELOI, who has been selected as our Europavox Band of the Month for June!
Éloïse Leau, shortened as ELOI, released her first EP during lockdown, followed by a second EP in 2022 and finally her debut album, ‘Dernier Orage’ (“The Last Storm”), in 2023.
Éloi clearly identifies her influences: the label PC Music founded in 2013, several French artists like Rebeka Warrior, Sébastien Tellier and Odezenne, and, more surprisingly, the classical composers Debussy and Chopin. We could add that she blends R’n’B and synthpop, electronic rhythms and pop melodies, in her wonderful cross-bred tracks.
Classifying her music under one category would be an impossible task.
