So, let’s not beat around the bush – 2021 wasn’t quite the roaring success we were all hoping for at the end of 2020. But have no fear, there was still plenty of good stuff happening to turn those frowns upside down.
For starters, throughout 2021, the show went on. Musicians not only kept making music and squeezing in as many shows as possible, some even started whole new acts and projects, as evidenced by the constant expansion of our pan-European Band Of The Day archive, not to mention our playlist selections. Whether it’s the best Hip-Hop in Europe, the perfect musical accompaniment for your Harry Potter fandom, or anything in between, we’ve got you covered.
Here at Europavox, we did our part in helping live music stay afloat as well, both through our very own Europavox festival in Clermont-Ferrand and in Zagreb, as well as by partnering up for events such as the online Music Europe Day (watch a quick recap here) and the hybrid European Youth Event (recap here), even streaming live from the European Parliament itself.
Heading into the new year, there’s a lot to be looking forward to, as we’ll be celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Europavox media. Yes, this here site right here! We’ve got a bunch of surprises in store, so stay tuned and all the best in 2022 on behalf of all of us here at Europavox!
