They won the Spotlight Prize and put it to good use! Lithuanian duo Kamanių šilelis just released a live version of their single Aš Lauksiu Tavęs. But they did not just record it live, as Mantas and Kamilé brought the GospelJonai choir to sing with them!
“There are moments in life when you feel lost, but deep down, we all have a tremendous capacity and gut feeling”, says Kamilė, offering a necessary reminder for everyone to keep looking for hope and light amidst the crazy, difficult times right now in Europe and in the world.
And it works. The video, directed by Oskaras Abramavičius, focuses on togetherness as the choir forms a circle around the duo. It almost feels like we are in the room experiencing this unique and powerful blend of voices over discreet but oh so elegant guitar chords… Chills!
