When a collaboration feels natural and meant to be, there’s no need for too many embellishments: the beauty is already there! That’s exactly what’s happening with this minimalist music video directed by Biscuit Productions’ Alexis Magand. While a little boy is bouncing on his trampoline, we get cradled by Morgane Imbeaud and Chris Garneau’s soft voices.
The two musicians go way back: in 2011, Chris opened a Parisian show for Cocoon, Morgane’s previous band. Since then, they have kept in touch. “This song is so important to me”, said Imbeaud. “It talks about the need to get rid of the past and rewrite your story, with my friend, one of my favourite voices in the world, Chris Garneau”.
