What started in May 2020 as a crazy effort to reconnect European musicians with their audience in a confined Europe has today become the first cultural and unifying event of Europe Day, with its digital side allowing hundreds of thousands of music fans to vibrate in unison, for one evening, with new European talents.

Today, at a time when the motto “United in diversity” is taking on its full meaning, Europe and its citizens need moments to share and to fraternise more than ever. Music Europe Day is back for a 3rd edition, positioned under the symbol of youth and culture.

On 9 May, starting at 7 pm CET, 15 young artists from as many European countries will host a five-hour show, featuring live music and intimate interviews, broadcast on the websites and social networks of the European Union, Europavox and of their partners.

For this year, 2022, which has been declared European Year of Youth, the microphones will be tuned into this talented young music scene for a moment of sharing around the artists’ sound, their visions and their aspirations for Europe. They will introduce us to their cities, their cultures and influences, and will exchange these moments with each other. They will also offer original musical performances recorded in cultural venues, each in their own countries.
