Muzika! New Voices from Lithuania – Concerts & Discussions

As part of the Lithuanian Season in France, the Muzika! New Voices from Lithuania project celebrates diversity and inclusivity in music. This initiative highlights Lithuania’s contemporary music scene by inviting young Lithuanian and French artists to perform in Paris, Vendôme, and Bourges at the end of November, fostering a festive and engaging atmosphere.
Alongside the concerts, each stop of the tour features discussions and exchange opportunities. In collaboration with associations and organizations promoting inclusivity, these moments of dialogue allow artists and participants to explore diversity in music, address current challenges, and envision a more inclusive future for Europe.

Behind the Scenes: Unpacking Gender Equality in the Music Ecosystem

Join us for a roundtable on gender equality in music, focusing on the representation of women, trans, and non-binary people. This interactive session will raise awareness of gender-related challenges in the industry while offering concrete actions to advance equality. With a quiz, personal testimonies, collaborative exploration of key issues, and solution-oriented discussions, this event provides an opportunity to envision a more inclusive and equitable music landscape.

Through testimonies and exchanges with French artist Crenoka and Lithuanian group shishi, this event addresses shared challenges between the two countries: gender stereotypes, visibility and equal recognition of talents, mental health, and working conditions. Together, we’ll explore how music can become a driver of social progress toward a more equal Europe.
