The 2024 Lithuania Season in France promises to be a major cultural event marking the renewal of Franco-Lithuanian exchanges. This season, which will run simultaneously with its French counterpart in Lithuania, will be an invitation to cultural and human understanding between the two countries.
Bringing together artists and public figures, the 2024 Lithuania Season in France will offer a diverse panorama of contemporary culture, revolving around three major themes: Global Neighborhood, Diversity and Identities, and Unbridled Imagination.
At the heart of this event, Europavox hopes to present one of the highlights of the season with the project “Muzika! New Voices of Lithuania,” an initiative aimed at promoting diversity and inclusivity in music. Young Lithuanian and French artists from the contemporary music scene will come together for a tour at the end of November dropping in on Paris, Vendôme, and Bourges, and offering vibrant and committed concert evenings.
Each stop of the tour will be marked by the participation of associations and organizations working towards greater inclusivity, offering opportunities for dialogue and debate. Artists, associations, and personalities will exchange ideas that depict the current situation, envision diversity, and outline a desirable future for Europe through music.
“Muzika! New Voices of Lithuania” is an initiative led by Europavox in collaboration with Loftas, one of Lithuania’s most dynamic cultural venues, and the Lithuanian Music Business Association. This project is also supported by Les Femmes s’en Mêlent and the Rockomotives festival, events recognized for their commitment to artistic emergence and visibility of women and gender minorities in arts and culture.
