What better way to start this New Year than with ten new musical discoveries? A list carefully curated with our partners at The Botanique (Bruxelles) to represent the diversity of the European scene, from the Polish neoclassical magic of Dobrawa Czocher, all the way to the Iraqi-inspired electronic music of the Belgian band Use Knife. Eclecticism and curiosity for music lovers is still our motto for 2023, with ZIMBRU’s new wave and Depresión Sonora’s cold wave, Bazooka’s psychedelic rock and Antonis Antoniou’s psychedelic world music, and of course some pop, though it’s colored with jazz (SOYUZ), american vibes (Nana Lourdes), rap (Kitana) and indie tones (Fran Vasilić).
