Curated with the help of our friends and partners at Le Botanique (Bruxelles, Belgium), the first Top 10 selection of 2023 saw the Romanian band ZIMBRU selected as Band Of The Month – and we can’t wait to hear their carefully crafted art-rock and profound lyrics at one of our festivals, after inviting them to play at the Music Europe Day.
Also, don’t miss the Iraqi-inspired electronic music of Use Knife, the Belgian band of this selection, and Botanique’s special pick. Discover as well the cold wave of Depresión Sonora, take a hit of psychedelia with Bazooka’s rock and Antonis Antoniou‘s traditional yet modernized Cypriot rhythms, and enjoy Nana Lourdes’ pop music, Kitana’s rap, Dobrawa Czocher’s neo-classical melodies and Fran Vasilić’s indie pop, one of our favorites at Eurosonic early this month.
