Europavox Clermont 2020 has been cancelled
NEWS / 14 APRIL 2020

Dear all,

Amongst the decisions taken as part of the fight against the propagation of the COVID-19, the French President announced yesterday no music festival could be held until mid-July.

Therefore, we must inform you with a heavy heart that Europavox’s 15th edition has been canceled.

For the past few weeks we, like you, have been vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation, trying every day to assess its consequences for our event. The possibility of maintaining it was becoming more and more unlikely and the decision taken yesterday eventually appeared unavoidable.

This cancellation is heartbreaking. For all the teams involved, the volunteers working on the festival and also the contractors and entertainment workers who work closely with us every year. We understand, however, that the safety of all must be the top priority, and our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who – directly or indirectly – have been affected by the illness, not to forget the caregivers who assist them bravely. Solidarity will be vital in these difficult times.

We thank with all our heart our public, partners, sponsors and the local authorities that have all been with us for so many years.

Starting tomorrow, driven by the same enthusiasm, we will do everything we can to offer you a 2021 edition of the Europavox festival that will be more beautiful than ever.

Take care of yourselves and of those around you.

The Europavox Festival team
