" An Alsatian band that specialises in energetic, ardent rock songs. "

Like many other bands, Last Train’s story starts at the secondary school where the four boys met. It took place in the Alsace region of Eastern France, in 2007. The creation of the band is quite common, but what they became and how far they went so quickly is extremely unusual. Their professional career began in 2014 with two promising songs, Cold Fever and Fire, followed by two EPs, The Holy Family (2015) and Fragile (2016), both of which were released on their own label. Interestingly, Last Train don’t only make music: these four entrepreneurs have founded their own record label (Cold Fame Records), a booking agency (Cold Fame Bookings) and more recently a music festival (La Messe de minuit, the first edition of which took place in September 2019 in Lyon). In addition to supporting Muse, Placebo and Johnny Hallyday, Last Train have toured all around the world, from North America to Japan or India, and of course many European countries.

Their potential was rewarded by several, including the ‘Inouis du Printemps de Bourges’ award in 2015 and the FAIR selection in 2016, aiming to provide support and aid to artists living in France and starting their careers. Together, they have released two albums as Last Train: the explosive Weathering (2017) and The Big Picture (2019), which showed a darker, sometimes calmer and more intense side to their music. This second album was preceded by an eponymous single in August 2019 with an ambitious and daring 10-minutes long video in black and white directed by their guitarist, Julien Peultier. Made of countless clips shot on the road and in the studio over the years, this short film is the perfect introduction to Last Train.
