In Poland, hip-hop has become the main, largest field of music and in such a crowded market, it’s getting harder and harder to stand out. CatchUp had no problems, though, since he presented his first tracks to the world.

A great vocal workshop, he features a wide range of rap and singing skills, and brilliant songwriting about the dilemmas of contemporary 20-year-olds. CatchUp is not only a keen observer of reality and its discerning narrator, he is also an extremely talented, self-sufficient artist.

In addition to impeccable rapping style, CatchUp distinguished itself on the Polish hip-hop scene with the ease with which he writes catchy choruses. In his works, he combines modern rap, trap or pop. Regardless of what CatchUp raps about, his unique mannerisms make this music seem easily digestible, understandable, and enjoyable for everyone.

One of his strongest assets is the incredible ease in talking about emotions caused in young people by the problems of adulthood, the surrounding reality, or love-life dilemmas. The rapper does it without pathos, but also without avoiding difficult topics.

It is worth mentioning that CatchUp is not only a rapper and singer. He is also a producer who has an unconventional approach to creating beats. The sound of his songs faithfully follows the latest trends on the global hip-hop scene, but is not lacking in authenticity or his own ideas.

For many Polish critics, CatchUp was considered one of the most promising rappers of the new generation. His debut album entitled ‘Perypetie’, released in 2021, received exclusively positive reviews, with both journalists and listeners noting the masterful level of the album’s production. What’s more, CatchUp’s position on the Polish hip-hop scene is evidenced by the presence of the most important rappers in the country, many of whom are found playing a role on his debut.
