" Lush, bass-driven art-pop with metamorphic edge "

From wartime hush to sub-bass rush, Nina Eba writes stories that hit like drops. This is the moniker of Ukrainian vocalist, producer, and DJ Alina Volkova, whose songs splice art-pop tenderness with restless club energy. Years behind the decks, living between bass-led scenes and off-kilter dance floors, have shaped her ear: breathy, intimate toplines ride taut percussion, splintered breakbeats, and gleaming, sometimes glitch-kissed synths. Her debut cycle, MORPHO, which came out in August 2024, circles transformation – flight, fracture, recovery, written through displacement and wartime tension, then refined into aerodynamic pop structures. Soon after, she released RE:MORPHIX – a remix compilation that reimagines her original work through the lens of a diverse lineup of electronic music producers from around the world. Nina Eba braids R&B-lilted hooks with fast low-end pressure and experimental sparkle; subs rumble, drums flicker, choruses open like windows at night.

Now stationed in Graz, Austria, she holds down spots with the GRVGRV formation and the Cutiecore collective, curating hybrid DJ/live sets that feel widescreen yet club-ready. The contrast is her signature: tenderness versus impact, translucence versus grit, nostalgia tugging against forward momentum. Each release sharpens a lexicon of motion – drops that land with purpose, beats that pivot mid-flight, vocals that glow at the edges. For listeners drawn to pop emotion but unwilling to sacrifice sonic risk, Nina Eba maps a bright, clear route where storytelling and sound design move as one, while offering a precise, luminous middle path – music built for motion, memory, and the moment when the floor tilts toward lift-off.
