Former head of film and television at Universal Music Publishing, Becca Gatrell, has debuted a new company which will aim to help songwriters services in publishing, syncing, and supervision.
Publishing will be combined with Universal Music to try pool together a broad range of artists from various spectrums and genres. It is also reported that signings have already been made, with Sean Gadd (founding member of Grouplove), Tommy Ashby and Rinngs among the names.
The music supervision and sync divisions will operate as in-house operations.
She also recently curated a panel on Film & Music for The xx’s successful Night + Day Festival which took place as part of their seven-night Brixton Academy residency last month.
