Maria Vainumäe, known in her music guise as Manna, is an artist who shape-shifts like a chameleon. From her roots as a mumble-rapping teenage princess to her current incarnation as a mysterious and enigmatic alternative pop queen, Manna employs her voice to tackle profound societal issues, including justice, human rights, homophobia, transphobia, racism, and sexism. As time progresses, she plunges deeper into the realms of electronic and bass music, revealing her ever-expanding artistic spectrum.

Manna first came into the picture after she made a bedroom Soundcloud-rap song, swiftly followed by an EP named ‘ALBUM’. Her distinctive sound gained recognition on Estonian airwaves, and resonated with a younger generation of music enthusiasts. Her fame grew further after she collaborated on a single with the renowned Estonian rapper, reket. Her journey continued with an 11-track experimental R&B album with mumble-infused flavors entitled ‘MANNA’, solidifying her position in the Estonian music scene.

However, something transformative occurred – Manna changed her style completely, leaving fans and critics wondering. Her music became somber and eerie, her fashion choices more avant-garde, her stage presence more powerful. She released a two-sided album named ‘i can do anything IF I WANT TO’. Showing that she can be both – mysterious dark-pop musician or mainstream mumble-rap star. However, as of now she has chosen her side and moved towards a gloomy and more juicy soundscape.
