Personal Trainer, selected as Europavox’s ‘Band of the Month’ last March, have good news to share: the Dutch band just signed with Bella Union, the prestigious UK label founded by Simon Raymonde from Cocteau Twins, a label that works with Beach House, Ezra Furman and Father John Misty (among others)! To celebrate this happy development, Personal Trainer released a music video for their new track ‘The Feeling’. Directed by Giacomo Speyart, it features documentary-style footage he shot on a trip to China, and emphasizes the contrasts at the heart of Personal Trainer’s music: a European take on LCD Soundsystem’s magic, both pop and indie-rock, easy-listening and well produced, dancing and melancholic.
