This year marks the return of Europe Day, held in front of the Hôtel de Ville in Paris on Saturday May 7. Europavox, like every year, will be present with a programme that will allow us to discover the new talents on the European scene at this event organised by the Representation in France of the European Commission, the Office in France of the European Parliament and the City of Paris.
Open to all, with free access, Europe Day will host debates, a giant graffiti mural, European foodtrucks, the village of associations and, from 6pm onwards, concerts by Papooz (FR), FO SHO (UA) and WizTheMC (DE):
Papooz : “A carefree Parisian duo with sunny songs”. Tropical pop, a reminder of the Beach Boys with a background of sunny harmonies. These two young Frenchmen know how to seduce the public, and their shows can turn into parties where the unexpected is more than welcome.
FO SHO : The three Ethiopian-Ukrainian sisters – capable of going from thunderous power to Olympian calm in their music – are worthy of the praise they receive. As bearers of committed and uncompromising hip-hop, their words will resonate with special emotion.
WiztheMC : Between summer pop and catchy hip-hop, the 22-year-old German singer has enough emotional baggage to create songs with deep narrative, often emphasising his agnosticism, with new melancholic touches juxtaposed with his original, wacky and joyful style.
