Not one, not two, not three, but seven different European nationalities will be represented at this second edition of Europavox Festival Bucharest, taking place April 5-6 at Control Club! Just Mustard, one of Ireland’s current array of thrilling new rock bands, Swedish indie-pop quartet Hater, French experimental rockers MNNQNS, Greek multi-instrumentalist Theodore, Finnish soul musician Bobby Oroza and Danish award-winning duo Svaneborg Kardyb will play alongside local artists Mischa Blanos and D.E.N.I.S.
In the meantime, here is a little background on the event: since its creation in 2008, Control Club has hosted several thousand concerts by local and international bands, becoming one of the most important live venues in Romania. This beautiful place has recently joined Europavox’s network, alongside Le Botanique (Bruxelles), Estragon Club (Bologna), INmusic (Zagreb), Loftas (Vilnius) and WUK (Vienna). Control Club shares our values: support European artist’s mobility, and offer music fans the chance to discover new talent, through Europavox events among others.
Don’t miss this second edition of the Romanian branch of our festivals, that will also, as it did last year, host « What’s Next For Europe » on the 5th of April, a professional parallel to the festival, with panels and meetings, organized with L’Institut français of Bucharest.
