Bologna, Danke!
Grazie mille Bologna! Am 8. und 9. .März spielten in der legendären Location Estragon einige der besten Newcomer:innen der europäischen Musikszene. Das Lineup vom 8.März bestätigte erneut die Bedeutung von Frauen in der Musikszene. Cristina Donà, Pomme, Ada Oda und die aufstrebende italienische Newcomerin Emma Nolde waren der Beweis dafür.
Am 9. März wurde dann getanzt – bis zum Umfallen. Von Venga Venga und Alo Wala über Rumba de Bodas bis zu La Pegatina bewiesen alle Künstler:innen, dass Europa ein weltoffener Kontinent ist, ein Schmelztiegel für musikalische Genres aus der ganzen Welt.
Das Sahnehäubchen war die Fotoausstellung von Richard Bellia mit einigen seiner großartigsten Werke, die Rockgeschichte geschrieben haben.
Vielen Dank an die Künstler:innen, an alle Partner:innen und an euch, dass ihr Europavox Bologna 2024 by Estragon zu einem unvergesslichen Event gemacht habt!

2023 edition – Grazie mille Bologna !
Die italienische Etappe der Europavox-Festivals hat wie jedes Jahr in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Estragon Club im wunderschönen BOtanique stattgefunden.
Ein großes Dankeschön an das Team und natürlich an die Künstler: den energiegeladenen Personal Trainer, Mischa Blanos und sein elektronisches Set – der rumänische Pianist hat während seiner verschiedenen Teilnahmen am Europavox alle Variationen seiner Shows gespielt, von neoklassisch bis elektronisch -, MNNQNS‚ Rockmusik, Petite Noir und seine unglaubliche Stimme, ZIMBRU’s Indie-Rock, die Einheimischen Indian Wells und ERIO sowie Stuart Braithwaite, der Gitarrist von Mogwai, der einen schönen und sanften Solo-Moment vorschlug.

Estragon Club
Estragon is one of the most important reality in Bologna. Known in Italy and Europe as well, for its work and its production of events in the musical field. Since almost 30 years, the Estragon Club has become the main club of the city. If you want to go wild with indie rhythm, reload yourself with the energy of the electro clash sound, swing with a bit of reggae music and if you want to lose yourself with the best rock in town.
Maybe the most easy going club in Bologna. We don’t mind invasions of metalheads with leather jacket or hundreds of guys with tight necktie and nerdy eyeglasses. If you are looking for a show or an event involving good rock and world music, Estragon is the right place!
Located in “Parco Nord” area, the club is spacious and easy to reach, both if you arrive from the city centre or from outside town.
If space is needed, be sure: the concert will be at Estragon.

But Estragon isn’t only a club. He also realized festivals at Joe Strummer Arena and at the University Botanical Garden in Via Filippo Re, right the city centre, where, since 10 years, the BOtanique music festival takes his natural place. During the festival, more than 25 international bands was hosted and performed in a naturalistic and suggestive outdoor location with more than 50.000 persons every edition.
