Thank you Bologna!
Grazie mille Bologna! On March 8th and 9th, iconic venue Estragon welcomed some of the best of the new European music scene. Starting on March 8th, the line-up confirmed the importance of women’s representation in music, with performances from Cristina Donà, Pomme, Ada Oda and rising Italian talent Emma Nolde.
On March 9th we danced, we danced, we danced! From Venga Venga to Alo Wala, from Rumba de Bodas to La Pegatina, these artists proved that Europe is a continent open to the world, overflowing with influences and blends from all corners of the globe.
The cherry on the cake was the photo exhibition by Richard Bellia with some of his greatest pics that have made rock history!

Europavox 2023 – Grazie mille Bologna !
The Italian step of Europavox’s festivals took place, as every year, in partnership with Estragon Club at the beautiful BOtanique.
A huge thank you to the team and of course to the artists : the energetic Personal Trainer, Mischa Blanos and his electronic set – the Romanian pianist has then played all the variations of his shows, from neo-classical to electronic, during his different participations at Europavox –, MNNQNS’ rock music, Petite Noir and his incredible voice, Zimbru’s indie-rock, the locals Indian Wells and ERIO, as well as Stuart Braithwaite, Mogwai’s guitarist, who offered a beautiful and soft solo moment.

Estragon Club
Estragon is one of the most important reality in Bologna. Known in Italy and Europe as well, for its work and its production of events in the musical field. Since almost 30 years, the Estragon Club has become the main club of the city. If you want to go wild with indie rhythm, reload yourself with the energy of the electro clash sound, swing with a bit of reggae music and if you want to lose yourself with the best rock in town.
Maybe the most easy going club in Bologna. We don’t mind invasions of metalheads with leather jacket or hundreds of guys with tight necktie and nerdy eyeglasses. If you are looking for a show or an event involving good rock and world music, Estragon is the right place!
Located in “Parco Nord” area, the club is spacious and easy to reach, both if you arrive from the city centre or from outside town.
If space is needed, be sure: the concert will be at Estragon.

But Estragon isn’t only a club. He also realized festivals at Joe Strummer Arena and at the University Botanical Garden in Via Filippo Re, right the city centre, where, since 10 years, the BOtanique music festival takes his natural place. During the festival, more than 25 international bands was hosted and performed in a naturalistic and suggestive outdoor location with more than 50.000 persons every edition.
